    If someone in my travel party can no longer come, am I able to switch them with someone else on a room stay in one of the resorts

    Hi there, Carissa! Welcome to planDisney!

    I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to Walt Disney World Resort this August and are looking to put some finishing touches on your magical vacation! I would love to help you update the Guests in your travel party to make it practically perfect in every way. Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared with people you love, and your trip is sure to be an extra special one! 

    Carissa, your best bet to modify the Guests in your travel party will be to call one of the wonderful Cast Members. A little like real-life fairy godparents, they'll be able to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your reservation to make all necessary changes! Make sure to have the full name of the Guest you're adding ready, as well as their identifying information and the email address associated with their My Disney Experience account (if they have one). That will help the Cast Member to add them to your reservation easily and efficiently! When you call, try to call right at 7:00 AM EST when the phone lines open since their type of magic can be in high demand. 

    Make sure that you also make your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system! This is the best way to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip. And take some time to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! This is a little like holding your own magic wand in your hand, unlocking everything that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. You'll be able to check wait times for attractions, view park maps, and even mobile order food! As a girl who often has a "rumbly in my tumbly," I love knowing that my meals and snacks will be ready for me right when I want them! If you're interested in making advance dining reservations, you'll be able to make those 60 days prior to your arrival date (June 27). My favorite places to dine at Walt Disney World Resort are Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom Park and Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT!
