Hi! Someone told me that in Disney your child can wake up a fairy. Can you tell me if this is true, and please tell me all about it. I visited Disney in 1978 ( I was 8 years) and now I ' m going with my husband and 2 daughters. Thank you.

There was one spot at the Magic Kingdom where you could wake up Tinker Bell. This activity was discontinued just last month when Tinker Bell decided to stop her hiding and come out and greet all the WDW guests.

As of October 2008, Tink and her friends Iridessa, Silvermist, Fawn, and Rosetta now have a permanent home in a life-sized Pixie Hollow installation in Toontown in the Magic Kingdom. You can check the free Times Guide, located near the maps at the park entrance, to see what hours Tink will be available during your visit.

Your trip sounds so exciting -- going to WDW with your own children for the first time is the experience of a lifetime. I hope you all have a magical trip.
