    How does someone who has a ticket, but is not staying on Disney property, link it to a magic band purchased at the Disney store?

    Hi Kimberly!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I absolutely love the convenience of the MagicBand so I understand why you'd still want one staying off property!

    What you will need to do is login or create a My Disney Experience account for yourself. You are going to create a profile for yourself and then link your ticket and MagicBand to your profile. If you need to create the profile click on the My Disney Experience logo in the top right hand corner and then under My Account click My Profile and enter your information. If you are doing this for multiple family members, you'll want to click on My Family & Friends List and create profiles for each of them as well.

    Once that is complete under My Account you'll want to click on MagicBands & Cards then scroll to the bottom, where you should see a button that says LINK that will allow you to link your purchased MagicBand to your account. You'll select MagicBand then enter in your specific MagicBand ID number. Please know that once a MagicBand has been linked to one individual it cannot be switched between profiles so make sure to assign them correctly! Once that is done then back under the main My Disney Experience logo under Plan & Manage you'll select My Reservations & Tickets. Here you'll link your tickets to each of the appropriate profiles and the MagicBands and tickets being linked to the same profile will connect them!

    I know it seems like a lot of steps, but it will honestly take you less than 5 minutes and you'll be ready to go and enjoy your time at Walt Disney World! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
