Welcome to planDisney, Delaine, and thanks for stopping by.
I’m so happy that you have found us, and just in time for your upcoming October visit! Are you booked? Or are you still in the planning phase? Either way, I’ll be more than happy to help point you in the right direction.
We here at
planDisney are normal park guests just like you! We use our experiences and knowledge to help make your
Disney vacation exactly what you want it to be. We can help by providing you with our dining recommendations, must-do lists, or by sharing our resort recommendations. One of my favorite tips to give is where to find the best snacks. A
beignet from Scat Cats Cafe at Port Orleans-French Quarter is the ideal midday pick-me-up for my family. If you haven’t had one yet, they are the perfect addition to your to-do list.
The best place to start gathering vacation planning ideas is on the official Walt Disney World Resort website. I like to begin my planning on the
resort page. That way, I can see what is available and what might interest my family for this specific visit. From there, I then select the theme parks I want to visit and the number of days. After I’ve secured those plans, is when I deep dive into the smaller details. Things like
Lightning Lanes, dining reservations, and even
Memory Maker. All the fine details that make a visit truly special.
If you happen to think of more questions while you're looking online, I recommend calling the
Walt Disney World Reservations line. The Cast Members there are so informative and helpful; they can help book your vacation package over the phone. There have been times when the Cast Member I’m speaking to has helped me decide which resort I should go with. Most recently, I had my heart set on one resort and then ended up switching last minute over the phone. And upgrading, which was completely worth it, as it was a new-to-us resort and experience!
Delaine, I hope this helps you begin planning or finalizing your plans for this visit. If you find that you could use some help, send us another question or give the Walt Disney World Resort a call. Together, we can make this dream trip a reality!
Dream Big,
Shantel
