    Someone who recently went said they now charge you an amount for tipping even though you have the dining plan, is this correct???

    Yes. Some previous versions of the Disney Dining Plan did include tips; however, tips have not been included with the Dining Plan for quite some time now. You can read more about the current version of the Dining Plan HERE. For parties of six or more, you are automatically assessed an 18% tip on your meal. For parties of fewer than six people, you may choose your tip level, though a tip of 15-20% is considered appropriate for good service.
