Hi! Someone recently posted about the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn secret menu nachos challenge was back. Is this true? I would love to do this! Thank you so much for your help!

Ann, it looks like someone is trying to spread secrets! Thanks so much for stopping by with this challenging question, but I believe I do have some information to share with you. I have it on first-hand knowledge that the Nachos Rio Grande Challenge at Pecos Bill's Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is in fact still retired. But wait, was it just a tall tale from the beginning? Hmmm ... well, I can confirm for you that this massive platter of all things delicious was, in fact, a once-secret menu item in Magic Kingdom Park. It was not found on the menu board at the restaurant and guests just spread the news of its existent via word of mouth. If you knew about it, then you HAD to have it! Being a nachos lover myself, I sure wish it was still available ... or is it? While it may not be, they do serve up some delicious nachos that can be fully dressed with the help of their toppings bar. Stop by and give them a "hey howdy hey" the next time you visit!

Secret menu items about all across Walt Disney World Resort and the best way to find out about them is by looking around the ordering area of your favorite dining locations for special signage or simply just asking the Cast Member assisting you. Also, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app before your arrival. When you go to the Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering section, you will find usually find secret menu items appear at the top of each dining location's menu listing. Another thing to do before your arrival is to do some basic web searching. The Disney Food Blog is my favorite go-to for all things Disney food and they do an excellent job of keeping us foodies updated on new and retiring options. There are some spooktacular secret and not-so-secret options available right now for the fall season!

Thanks again for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
