Can someone PLEASE help me with these ridiculous acronyms??? Some of us out here are not pros and have no idea what "ADRs", "MVMCP", "WL", "Poly", etc., etc. mean. Can one of you list ALL of them for us???

    Walter,

I feel your pain!  I remember a few years ago when I had no idea what any of these acronyms meant and I wanted to pull my hair out.  After a while they start to make sense, and they save you a lot of typing time.

All of us "Moms" on the Moms Panel fully understand that many users of this site are first-time planners, and may not be familiar with WDW (that's Walt Disney World!) and/or general forum acronyms.  We try to help bridge that gap.

Please keep in mind that we don't edit the wording of questions, and sometimes our users post questions with acronyms in the interest of simplicity and/or brevity. When this happens, we all try to remember to explain the acronym in our answers, but I'm sure we aren't perfect in that process -- mostly because these acronyms are second nature to all of us by now.

The good news is that we have a few prior Q&As (Questions and Answers) that will help you tremendously IMHO (in my humble opinion) with "these ridiculous acronyms."

By the way, you can also simply click on the topic "acronyms" on the left menu of our site's homepage (it's towards the bottom of the "General" category).
