Hi Can someone please give an honest review of MMBBQ? It is something I always wanted to do but my husband read a lot of bad reviews. Is it worth 2 dining meals to go with our 8y daughter or should we spend the evening doing something else?

    Hi, Laura!

Okay, here's the deal, straight from my daughter's mouths (ages seven and 11).  Mickey's Backyard BBQ is a lot of fun, with lots of music and dancing, so even if you don't get to meet the characters individually, it's still a lot of fun.

The food is hit or miss with my kids.  They like the barbecue ribs and the burgers and hot dogs, but they aren't crazy about things like cole slaw and potato salad.  They will eat the corn on the cob, and one of them will eat the cowboy beans, but this is an all you care to eat dinner, so if your daughter is a little fussy about side dishes, she's welcome to grab another hot dog or some extra dessert.

I would say overall, it's a great way to spend an evening, especially with a child this age.  You may want to look at the logistics of paying out of pocket for this meal, and opting to use your dining credits at another restaurant (or two) that your husband might enjoy.

Take online reviews with a grain of salt.  It's been my experience that people who have negative things to say speak the loudest!  It's really up to an individual opinion as to whether this is a good value for your family.  For mine, the kids are up and dancing and eating and having a blast, so it's a great way to end a day with a ready for bed kid!

    Have a great vacation!
