Can someone please explain how the DDP works at Via Napoli if we want to order a large pizza? Read prior posts that said this was not permitted, but they were several years old. Will have 2 adults & 2 kids in party. Thx so much, you guys are wonderful!

Hi Alyssa! Via Napoli is always a must-do restaurant for my pizza-loving family!

While many Disney restaurants don't have a problem with guests on the Disney Dining Plan sharing meals, Via Napoli is more strict. Guests there may choose an individual pizza or an entree. When the restaurant first opened, guests could pool Dining Plan credits for the large pizzas, but in recent years guests report that Via Napoli requires each person to order their amply-sized individual pizza or entree. Kids under 10 may choose items from the children's menu.

I've always found Via Napoli to be a good dining deal at Walt Disney World. Guests who are not using the Disney Dining Plan may share the larger pizzas. The half-meter pizza easily feeds my hungry family of four. None of us leave hungry and our bill is generally a lot less than at other restaurants where we each order an entree. If your family just wants to share a pizza, you may want to pay out-of-pocket for your meal at Via Napoli and use your table-service dining credits at a different restaurant.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel! We're always happy to help!
