Hi Tanya! I'm always studying the children's menus at Disney restaurants to make sure there are options to please my picky eaters before I book a reservation. The two restaurants you mentioned both have several options on the kids' menus. In addition to grilled fish and cheese pizza, the
Coral Reef children's menu offers grilled chicken, meaty macaroni and seared mahi mahi. At Mama Melrose's the
kids' menu has Chicken Parmigiana, Spaghetti or Penne with Tomato Sauce, Meat Sauce or Cheese Sauce, as well as Cheese Pizza and grilled fish. (When you look at the menus online, be sure to look at the options listed on the right, as well as those pictured on the left.) If none of those options appeal to your children, I've often found that the restaurants at Disney are able to accommodate requests for other items. My son has been able to order a grilled cheese sandwich at many restaurants even though it wasn't listed on the menu.
The Disney website used to have only the adult menus posted online, but recently I've noticed that more children's menus can be viewed online as well. However, if you don't see a kids' menu for a particular restaurant on the Disney site, you can often find a sample one on an unofficial site like allears.net.
Hope this helps! Come visit me again again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! I'm happy to help!
