    If someone is picking you up from the parks do they have to pay for parking? How would you go about picking someone up if you are not going to the park yourself? And is it the same at all 4 parks? Thank you!

    Hi Joseph!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As ride sharing services like Uber and Lyft have become increasingly popular, there are now designated pick up and drop off locations around Walt Disney World Resort, that can be used by anyone and do not require you to pay for parking.

    I'm glad to let you know this is very simple and shouldn't be any issue when arriving at any of the theme park locations. You'll want to follow driving directions like you normally would in the direction of the regular parking area. As you approach the area where you would normally pay, just let the Cast Member know that you are just dropping off or picking someone up. They'll direct you to the appropriate lane to proceed to the drop off and pick up area. The locations can be different at each park, and subject to change, but the Cast Member working the parking entrance should easily be able to direct you! 

    Please note, for Magic Kingdom this will not be at the entrance to the park where buses are, you should proceed to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where the folks you are dropping off will then need to take the monorail over to the park. They'll do the same coming home when you pick them up. Please come back and let us know if you have any other questions!
