Bonjour, Nicolas! It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome you back to planDisney.
I couldn't be happier to see you have a magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth right on the horizon! And since you've added one of the
Disney Dining Plans to your vacation, your pixie-dusted planning is off to a
fantastique start. The food is a big part of the fun, and the Dining Plan makes it so easy to taste your way around
Walt Disney World without worrying about staying on budget. Now, let's dig in!
With the Dining Plan, each meal and snack credit is assigned to a specific Guest, and unfortunately, these dining credits are non-transferable and cannot be used by another Guest. But c'est la vie, mon ami! One of the things I love about the Dining Plan is the flexibility in how you can use your credits to maximize the value and the magic.
Although every Guest on the Dining Plan receives a specific number of meals and snacks per night of stay, you can use your credits any way you'd like through midnight on checkout day. For example, if you want to enjoy all of your snack credits in one day, go for it! That sounds like my kind of Disney day.
If someone in your travel party must leave early, there are a few ways they can use their extra credits. If they will have Table-Service credits left over, I recommend dining at one or more of the
Signature Dining Restaurants, such as my favorites
Flying Fish and
California Grill, that use two Table-Service credits for one fabulous meal. If they have snack credits left over when it's time for them to say, "Au revoir," I recommend grabbing some pre-packaged snacks, such as bagged candy or popcorn from one of the retail locations. I must admit that I always buy two Caramel Cookie Sandwiches and two bags of Werther's Caramel Popcorn from
Karamell-Küche in Germany in EPCOT. One to munch on during vacation and one to take home. They are both so delicious and make the perfect snack for the car ride or flight home.
While this probably wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Nicolas, I hope it was at least helpful! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. Be our Guest and put our service to the test!
Bon appetit,
Mandy
