Someone mentioned that there are $30 or $35 Disney World Refillable cups we can purchase during our stay. So we can refill our cups at any food locations in the various parks at no additional price. Is this true?

    Hey there, hi there, Shawntelle!

You are literally days away from your Walt Disney World vacation! It's such a hectic, exciting time in our house when we are getting this close to a Disney vacation, so thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.

I think what you may be hearing about is the Rapid Fill Refillable mug. These mugs, which are great souvenirs, are typically sold in the quick service or food court areas of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels. The mugs are only refillable at the Disney resorts, but once you've purchased your mug, you can refill it with fountain sodas, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. You will also usually find something non-carbonated at the fountains, like lemonade or Powerade.

The mugs are not refillable at the theme parks, but if you plan on spending a good bit of time at your resort, they can be well worth the investment. They're good for the length of your stay, up to 14 days, so you can definitely plan to get your money's worth. Current prices for the mugs start at about $20, although that is subject to change, but if you plan on filling up in the morning and evening, it can end up saving you a few dollars over the course of your vacation. Also, we've got mugs in our kitchen cupboards that have outlasted so many other souvenirs, so I like them for that reason.

I hope that helps as you finalize your planning and get ready to go!
