Hello Xochilt! Welcome to planDisney!
Adventure is out there and your adventure to
Walt Disney World Resort starts in just a few days! I have to say that I'm more than a little bit jealous! I'm sorry to hear that one of your party members is now unable to make the trek to The Most Magical Place on Earth with you. Looking on the bright side though, giving them a chance to visit at a later date could mean planning another trip for you!
As long as your group member's ticket is unexpired and unused
you will be able to reassign that ticket to someone else. This could mean that another friend or family member decides to join you on this trip (they better start packing!) or you are able to save the value of the ticket for a future reservation either for this group member or even yourself.
While
Walt Disney World tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable once they have been used even once, the value of an unused ticket will remain like a credit on your account even if it expires. This means that you can use those funds to move forward with purchasing another ticket even if you don't use this one before it expires.
I don't know if you and your party are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, but if you are, make sure to take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry. This perk is built in just for Guests staying at a Disney Resort and allows you to enter each park 30 minutes early every day! It's a great way to get a jump start on some of your favorite attractions and shows before the Parks even open to the public! We love to use this time to get in line for some of the most sought-after attractions in the Parks like
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and the new
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure!See you real soon!
