Is there someone at Disney that can help at mealtime with 4 children....disaster might ensue

    Ellen,

What I've found works best for my family is careful restaurant selection. Character meals, or restaurants with games or entertainment, are a great way to keep the little ones still and occupied while you eat. A few of our favorites (in no particular order):

    1. Play 'n Dine at Hollywood & Vine - character meal for breakfast and lunch with singing and dancing for little ones
    2. 'Ohana - we prefer dinner, complete with coconut races, hula dancing, and a strolling ukelele player, but there is a character breakfast as well.
    3. Whispering Canyon Cafe -  lunch or dinner here are our picks. Fun and games for the kids, and probably even some good-natured ribbing.
    4. Chef Mickey's
    5. Biergarten - German food, singing and dancing, and guests are encouraged to dance as well. If your kids get the wiggles, this is a good place to work them out!
    6. Restaurant Marrakesh - For the slightly more adventurous eaters, lunch or dinner here, complete with belly dancing, is a real treat.
    7. Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue - This dinner show is one of my family's favorite experiences at Disney. The food is good and plentiful, the service excellent, and the dinner show loud and rowdy and lots of fun.
And if all else fails and your little ones just won't cooperate, Disney has lots of good quick service dining options that will allow you to eat and run - back to the fun!
