Hi Tapoya,
Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. How exciting to have a new bundle of joy to join you on your Disney Cruise Line vacation! Congratulations!
First things first. For most itineraries,
infants must be six months old at the time of embarkation. Some itineraries, including South Pacific, Transatlantic, Hawaii and Panama Canal repositioning cruises, infants must be one year old at the time of embarkation. So, hopefully, your cruise and the baby's age fit those parameters.
Now, additional Guests may be added to most reservations (except some restricted reservations, so check the terms of your particular reservation for more information) if your stateroom can accommodate extra Guests, as even infants count toward the Guest count. You will want to add your little one to your reservation sooner rather than later since the total ship capacity can limit the number of Guests in a stateroom. If you made your reservation directly through Disney Cruise Line, I suggest you
call and let a Cast Member assist you with the change or advise you on other options.
Tapoya, Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with little ones a breeze! Did you know you can request complimentary items, such as Pack-n-Play portable cribs, diaper disposal units, bottle warmers and sterilizers on a first-come, first-served basis? I recommend you make these requests as soon as your reservation is confirmed. Simply log into
My Reservations, select Special Requests and complete the Special Requests form. It is a great way to lighten your load when packing for your trip.
I hope this information helps you and your family as you continue to plan your vacation. Please sail by any time with other questions you may have!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
