Hiya Tyree!
I want to welcome you to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question for us!
It’s never fun rescheduling your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, but I want you to know that the magic will be here and waiting for you when you’re ready to embark on new adventures! During these unprecedented times, I know there are many unknowns, but one thing I can do to help ease your hEARt is to discuss the cancellation policy of your theme park tickets with you!
Tyree, your wholly unused Walt Disney World Resort
theme park tickets maintain their value indefinitely. For example, if you spend $100 on your tickets, they will be worth $100 if you need to change the dates. If you purchase tickets for September 1st but then need to change the date, you can go into your
My Disney Experience account, click on “Park Tickets,” and once you locate your tickets, there is a "Change Ticket" link that you will want to click on. By choosing this option, it will allow you to select new dates. Please note that you would have to pay a price difference if the ticket prices increase.
I would also like to add that to change your ticket date on your My Disney Experience account, it must be before the tickets expire. Once the expiration date has passed, you will no longer see the tickets in your My Disney Experience account; However, they will still be there; you just won't be able to see them and will have to
call Existing Tickets for assistance in changing your tickets to new dates.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic when you’re ready, Tyree!
Aena
