I have a solo trip coming up! I will have a couple of non park days. Can I resort hop and check out the other resorts? I will be staying at all star using Disney transportation. I’m a military spouse. Can I resort hop and check out shade of green?

Hi Sally, and thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! Solo trips are fun because they give YOU the chance to do all the things you want to do without the pressure of taking care of little ones and ensuring everyone gets to do what they want at Walt Disney World Resort

Resort hopping is something that I enjoy doing during my visits, I love getting the chance to check out any resorts that have been updated and try out new dining experiences. Shades of Green Resort is a DoD resort on Disney property, so I suggest using a ride-share service to visit. You will need military ID upon arrival to enter the resort.

Speaking of ride-share services, have you used Disney Minnie Van Service? They are my favorite way to get around Walt Disney World, I love how the cars are decked out in Minnie's iconic polka dots, the vehicles are spacious, and provide charging ports for devices if necessary. Make sure you have the Lyft app downloaded to use this service. Sally, have the most magical time flying solo at Walt Disney World. Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have before your visit. From one military spouse to another, you've got a friend in me!

    Magic Awaits!
