Hi Scott!
Thank you for stopping by
planDisney with your question! I can completely relate to your dilemma. As a single parent, it can be tough to find childcare, especially when traveling. There are a few services to choose from while you are visiting Walt Disney World. While they are not officially a part of Walt Disney World, there are several companies that service Walt Disney World Guests.
Kids Nite Out is a service that offers in-room babysitting. I see that you are visiting on September 23, so make sure to call them or fill the form out on their website right away to secure a sitter for the date and time you need. Their babysitters are CPR certified and have extensive experience in childcare settings. Conduct a quick search for Kids Nite Out online to contact them.
Another option is the
Children's Activity Center at Camp Dolphin. Camp Dolphin is located on the lower level of the
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel.
The
Baby Care Centers that you mentioned do not offer supervised child care, but they are a great place to take a break with little ones while in the parks. They have feeding areas with high chairs, kitchens, and changing tables. There are Baby Care Centers located in each of the four parks.
While you are at
Walt Disney World, make sure to check out the amazing Halloween decor at the parks and resorts! If you get a chance, consider buying a special event ticket to
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. This event is filled with fun character greetings, trick-or-treating, and
Mickey's Boo-to-You Parade!
Good luck at your work event!
Magically,
Stacy
