My softball teams is going to be participating in one of the Softball tournaments held at the Wide World of Sports. I'm curious as to how much time is spent at the games and how much free time you have to roam the parks?

    Hey Emma!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you so much for your question.

The best way to get an idea of your playing schedule is to contact the sanctioning organization sponsoring your event. In my experience, tournament schedules are released a week to ten days prior to the contest.

When planning the time you will spend in the Walt Disney World parks, I would suggest buying a base ticket without the park hopper option. In all likelihood, you will not have a lot of park touring time during the tournament. However, if you are planning on arriving a few days early or staying a few days after, I would definitely recommend adding the park hopper option to your park tickets. This will definitely maximize your park time.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical Disney sports vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
