Hi Arthur and welcome to planDisney!
Hope you’re well, and I’m so sorry you’re not able to make it to the
Disneyland Resort. You got a great deal with the So Cal Resident ticket offer! Happy to help you get that ticket over to a friend that can use it.
While the So Cal Resident ticket offer is no longer available for sale, if the ticket is wholly unused, then yes, it can be given to a friend who can provide proof of residency using a valid government-issued photo ID. In order to make the change, you can give a call into the
Ticket Hotline to move the ticket to their MyDisney account. You’ll need their email, full name, address, and phone number. This will put the ownership onto their
MyDisney account so they can fully access and control the ticket and any benefits relevant to it. Remind your friend they will need to bring their photo ID as stated above to show at entry to the parks. Finally, this ticket expires on June 2, so make sure they are aware and can make those park reservations sooner rather than later.
A lot is
happening at Disneyland Resort right now,
Star Wars Season of the Force is entering its final week, ending June 2, and
Pixar Fest is in full swing through August 4! Your friend ain’t never had a friend like you! I hope they have an amazing visit and enjoy the
themed Pixar food and novelties, along with
galactic experiences. If you or your friends have any other questions, feel free to
send us another message!
May the Force Be With You!
Camille
