Hiya, Anita! Welcome back to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm so excited to hear that you're making plans to visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of year! With so much to see and do during the
holiday season, you're sure to find magic around every corner. You'll be able to enjoy the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and everything it has to offer, like the
Candlelight Processional and
Holiday Cookie Stroll. And don't forget to pack your seasonal best if you plan on purchasing tickets to
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
Anita, one of the features I love most is the "snow" that falls on Main Street, U.S.A. during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Unfortunately, from what I understand, the "snow" only occurs during this ticketed event. I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, but I'm happy to let you know that there is so much holiday cheer in each of the parks, you won't miss out on a minute of the magic! For example,
Magic Kingdom Park will have holiday projections on Cinderella Castle on nights that do not offer a holiday party.
Disney's Hollywood Studios will feature Sunset Seasons Greetings, where the Hollywood Tower Hotel will light up with seasonal projections. You can also catch the Santa Claus Motorcade in this park! One of my favorite details is the Merry Menagerie that happens in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, where you can see gorgeous sculpted puppets of arctic "animals" walking around. And you have to check out the holiday details added to
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Overlay at
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind! Be sure that you've made your theme park reservations with the
Disney Park Pass system so you can reserve the parks you'd like to visit on each day of your trip.
I hope you have the happiest holidays at Walt Disney World Resort this year, Anita! And please stop by if you have any other questions.
Wishing you the very merriest!
Michelle
