We snagged an 8 AM reservation for Galaxy’s Edge! My husband and I are early risers and want to be ready to enter the park as early as possible. What’s a good place to eat breakfast in Downtown Disney or the Disneyland Hotel (where we’re staying)? Thanks!

    Hi Amber!

It is so exciting that you and your husband will be among the first guests to experience the all new Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at the Disneyland Resort this summer! You'll definitely want to be there as early as possible, but as guests of the Disneyland Hotel, you'll be super close to the park and won't have much of a walk at all! Do plan to be at the gates much earlier than 8:00 a.m. though so you can head right in when they open.

If you'd like to grab a quick early breakfast, your best bet will probably be The Coffee House in Disneyland Hotel. It's a cute spot that opens early at 6:00 a.m. They have a wide variety of Continental Breakfast-type items on their menu like bagels, croissants, cinnamon rolls, yogurts, cereal and of course a big selection of coffees, lattes, teas, and other specialty beverages. I'd recommend grabbing breakfast there prior to walking over to the Disneyland Park gates that morning. I wouldn't want to do a big sit down breakfast if I were headed straight to the parks for the opening.

LaBrea Bakery Express is a favorite of mine too. That's in the Downtown Disney District on your way from Disneyland Hotel to Disneyland Park. You'll walk right past it, but it doesn't usually open until 7:00 a.m. If I were you, I'd want to be at the gates around 7:00 a.m. so we could be some of the first guests in. You might consider bringing your food and snacking on it while you wait for the gates to open. But, I really think your best bet is to get a quick breakfast at The Coffee House, either to eat there or take to go for while you wait for park opening, Amber. It's going to be very crowded, so being there early is the best way to start the day off right!

Have so much fun as you continue planning for the exciting adventure to a galaxy far, far away!
