We have snagged candlelight process diner package for Dec 12.I am new to xmas at WDW how does this package work? I hear we have guaranteed seating at the show and fireworks, how do they know who gets in? And where is the reserved seating for the fireworks?

Hi, Tracy!  The Candlelight Processional dinner package includes a lovely meal at one of the participating restaurants.  When you arrive at the restaurant, they will issue you stickers for you to wear in a visible location (sometimes, they give them to you as you pay your bill) so that your participation in the dinner package is known to the Cast Members at the America Gardens Theater.  There are two lines that will form outside of the theater - one for stand-by guests, the other for guests who have purchased the dinner package.  There isn't "reserved" seating, but guests with the dinner package will be admitted first, guaranteeing them a seat in the sometimes standing room only theater.

The preferred viewing area for Illuminations is not a seating area, but an area with a wonderful vantage point to enjoy the nightly Illuminations show.  When you come from Future World into the World Showcase, there are two gift shops as you walk to the left, and between those two gift shops is usually where the preferred viewing is.  Depending on the time of your Candlelight show, you may or may not want to use this location.  We usually do the last show of the day, and by the time we get to the area, it can already be pretty busy.  We just snag a spot as we are walking towards the exit to Future World.

I hope you have a wonderful time!
