Can snack points be used for alcoholic drinks?

Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate’s life for me, Karen! Thank you for stopping by planDisney, a group of Disney-loving scallywags happy to set sail in search of answers to your Disney holiday questions. I’m glad you brought us your question about using the Disney Dining Plan for alcoholic beverages.

I love the Disney Dining Plan and having meals for my Disney vacation budgeted in advance.  It makes planning a bit easier, too, since I know I will have one table-service, one quick-service, and one snack per person, per night of our stay. There are so many fabulous restaurants throughout Walt Disney World Resort: in the theme parks, the Disney Resorts, and Disney Springs.

Hey, send them hens to Davy Jones. It’s the rum they want! While alcoholic beverages are available for Guests 21 and older, with your meal entitlement on any of the Disney Dining Plans, you cannot use a snack credit for an alcoholic beverage. So, you will have to get your alcoholic beverages with your table-service and/or quick-service meals.

Have an unforgettable visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Karen! If you need further assistance or we can offer you recommendations, please return here to planDisney. We *arrrr* here for you and are happy to help.

Drink up me hearties, yo ho!
