    Hi Don!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The opening day of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is quickly approaching and I know fans across the galaxy could not be more excited!

    It was just announced yesterday on the Disney Parks Blog that the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction will open on December 5th in celebration of Walt Disney's birthday! This will be the second phase of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the final touches to the opening. The first phase, which is set to open on August 29th, will include Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, Oga's Cantina, Black Spire Outfitters and so much more! The vast majority of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be able for Guests to explore in August, but as your trip is planned for December, you will really be able to explore everything the galaxy has to offer!
