Welcome aboard planDisney, Cassandra!
Thanks for sailing by with your question. How exciting to have a Disney Cruise Line vacation on the horizon and how reassuring to know your little one will enjoy being well cared for in the fabulous
"it's a small world" Nursery!Currently, children 6 months
(for most itineraries) to 3 years old can visit the nursery for the price of $4.50 per person, per half hour. For each additional child, the price is $4.00 per child, per half hour. (Prices are subject to change.) Keep in mind there is a one-hour minimum per reservation. You can
reserve space online up to three days before your cruise or check for availability with the nursery on embarkation day between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
The nursery, no matter which ship you sail, is designed to help you and your child feel safe and comfortable. Each time I visit one of the nurseries during the Open House hours (check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for details), I'm amazed at how adorable the space is and how attentive the counselors are. Each nursery features a space for children to acclimate to the space, a quiet room perfect for naps, and a delightful main play area. Your little one will love it!
Cassandra, to make your vacation a breeze you can
request items like a Pack N' Play and other items by logging into
My Reservations under the Already Booked tab and using the Special Request form. Items are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so I encourage you to complete the form in advance. There is also a
wide assortment of baby essentials available in the
shops onboard the ship. If you don't see what you are looking for ask a Crew Member for assistance.
I hope this information gets you and your little sailor off to a great start! Sail by anytime with other questions you may have, Cassandra.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
