With small children are "outside" water and snacks allowed inside the park?

    Claudia,

Absolutely.  In fact even without children you can bring in food or drinks (no glass bottles though). Just before you enter the parks, your bags will be searched, but they are looking for dangerous items that shouldn't enter the parks, not food.

By the way, I always bring several water bottles for our family into the parks.  You can take them to any counter service restaurant and re-fill them for free with ice water (a life saver, and money saver, in the hot summer months!!).  If you forget the water bottle, they'll give you a free glass of ice water.

I also usually bring some small snacks into the parks, for those times when we are in line and one (or all!) of the kids gets a little hungry.  It's a great way to keep the family happy between meals.

    Hope that helps.
