Can you get a small cake for a birthday without ordering a special one to have it delivered? There will only be 2 of us and I didn't want to have to purchase a 6 or 8 inch cake. I am really interested in Le Cellier in Epcot and if they have cakes there.

    Hi Tammy,
Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The cakes that are available in the restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort (ask at the podium when you check in) are six-inch chocolate or vanilla cakes. I have had visits with my children where they will bring cupcakes to celebrate birthdays but I am not certain that those are available at all times.

If a six-inch cake is too large for you, you can call Specialty Cakes and order something that only serves one to two people. You must place your order at least 72 hours in advance if you would like to have the cake delivered to the restaurant.

May I also suggest purchasing one of the incredible (and large) cupcakes that can be purchased in venues such as Sunshine Seasons located in The Land pavilion? The bakery there usually has the latest seasonally available cupcake-and it's plenty for two! They will box it up for you so you can take it with you to dinner.

I hope you have a great time celebrating at Le Cellier!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
