Will the Skyliner accomodate a scooter?

Hi there, Sandra! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

One of my personal favorite parts of visiting Walt Disney World Resort is the convenience of Disney Transportation! There are so many different options that you can use to get around and many of them are completely complimentary. The newest addition, the Disney Skyliner, opened in Fall 2019 and provides Guests with a totally new experience! Guests utilizing the Disney Skyliner can not only receive transportation to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and select Disney Resort hotels but they will also be treated to a unique aerial view of the property!

You will also be happy to know that the Disney Skyliner can accommodate both wheelchairs and Electrical Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs)! There are actually specific accessible gondolas that are made to fit mobility devices and up to six other Guests. I would recommend keeping in mind that all devices will need to fit within a 30" x 48" area to board the Disney Skyliner. There is also a specific area for Guests that will need a bit more time loading onto their gondola so the process is less stressful than you might expect!

Hopefully, this information will assist you as you continue to plan for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
