What is the size of the 5th Sleeper bed in both PO-Riverside and Caribbean Beach Resort? Thanks

Hello Linda! Welcome back to planDisney!

If you are a seasoned traveler to Walt Disney World Resort make sure to check out all the new and exciting rides, attractions, treats, and shows that may have popped up at the Resort since your last visit! With the 50th anniversary of the Resort going on right now, there is so much to celebrate and so many new things to experience!  I don't know if you've had the pleasure of seeing the new nighttime show, Harmonious, at EPCOT, but if you haven't make sure to get there as soon as possible! This magnificent and magical show literally brought me to tears, and that is hard to do! Between the lights, fireworks, and Disney music sung in multiple languages, this show definitely makes you feel like it really is a "small world after all!"

I always stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel when I visit the Resort, and I've come to find that Moderate Resorts, especially the two you mention, really give you so much value for your money and are just simply beautiful places to stay.  Disney's Port Orleans Resort  - Riverside was one of the very first Disney Resorts I ever stayed in and I have such fond memories of walking the grounds and enjoying the smell of the beautiful blooms popping up in the spring.  Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort has always been a bright and cheerful place to stay, but now that it is right on the Disney Skyliner line I love it even more! I feel like taking the Skyliner is an attraction in itself and it is so quick and easy to "fly" to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios!

The time that I stayed at Port Orleans - Riverside I had a friend join our family vacation and we had a "5th Sleeper" Guest room! Both here and at Caribbean Beach Resort the "5th sleeper" beds are considered "Child-sized", measuring approximately 66 inches by 33 inches for Port Orleans - Riverside and 63 inches by 30 inches for Caribbean Beach Resort.  You may find this bed to be best suited for a smaller visitor, though my friend never expressed any concern over the size and slept just fine!

I hope that you have a visitor who will be more than happy to spread out in their own space and enjoy their pull-down bed.  You and are party are sure to have an amazing Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
