Hey there, David, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh my goodness, your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is almost here! Cue the happy dance — WOOHOO!! Now that we've celebrated that exciting news, let's dive into your question!
According to the
Walt Disney World Property Rules, electric scooters and other mobility devices must meet specific guidelines to be permitted inside the parks. Devices must have at least three wheels and be able to remain stable and upright when stationary, unpowered, or unoccupied — meaning no training wheels or added modifications are allowed. Additionally, all devices must be either manually or electrically powered, operate at a walking pace, and be designed for a single rider. They must also not exceed 36 inches (92 cm) in width and 52 inches (132 cm) in length. Before your visit, be sure to check the dimensions of your ECV to be sure it meets these requirements.
David, before your trip, I highly recommend checking out the
Services for Guests with Mobility Needs section on the Walt Disney World website. It's a fantastic resource packed with helpful information, including how to experience attractions using your mobility device, guidance on
accessing attraction queues, downloadable
theme park guide maps, and so much more. It's a great way to feel prepared and make the most of your magical visit!
Also, don't forget to download the
My Disney Experience Mobile app before your visit. Much of the helpful information found on the website is conveniently available right in the app, making it easy to access everything you need while you're on the go in the parks.
I hope this information helps, David! If you have any additional questions, please visit us again – we're always happy to help!
See ya real soon!
