What is the size of the free locker at Tron ride ?

    Hi Sunil,

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're preparing to enter the grid on TRON Lightcycle / Run Presented by Enterprise. I've enjoyed this thrilling attraction on multiple occasions and I can say you are in for an exciting ride!

Before you board your Lightcycle you'll need to stow your backpack, purse, Mickey ears, and any other loose accessories in one of the complimentary lockers. You'll access these with a MagicBand, MagicBand+, or a ticket card. Disney MagicMobile passes will not work but don't worry if you don't have one of the other options. Cast Members will provide you with a card to open a locker and store your belongings.

Pro tip- you'll retrieve your bags from the same locker number as you exit using your MagicBand or card so be sure not to store those in the locker with the rest of your items. You'll want to wear your MagicBand+ during the experience to receive your attraction photo and videos. Don't fret if you can't remember which locker number you chose as you exit the attraction. You'll be able to scan your card or MagicBand at one of the convenient terminals and receive a reminder.

The lockers are pretty roomy and according to a Cast Member I just chatted with, are comparable in size to the small rental lockers you'd find at the main entrance of Magic Kingdom Park which measure 12" x 10" x 17." I haven't measured them personally, but I came across another guest's post on social media who measured the Tron locker opening at 12" x 12" with a depth of about 18." I've been able to store two small backpacks, 2 pairs of Mickey ears, and some sunglasses with room to spare. There is also a small storage compartment between the handlebars of each Lightcycle as well if you'd like to keep your glasses or wallet stowed there during the ride. Just don't forget to take them with you as you exit!

During my last visit my friend's backpack was a bit larger than the lockers so we flagged down a Cast Member for assistance. He was directed to proceed through the rest of the queue with our group and then was taken to a Cast Member-only area to store his bag just before we boarded the attraction vehicle. Upon exiting, he was escorted to retrieve his bag and we were on our way to enjoy the rest of our magical day, with exhilarated smiles and some windblown hair to boot!

I hope this puts you at ease, Sunil. If we can answer any additional planning questions please come back and let us know. We're always happy to help!

    Magic and memories,
    Amy
