Hi Moms! This site was so helpful in planning our last Disney vacation I'm back again! The last time we traveled was in August 2012, what is new or different at Disney World since that time? Thanks for your help!

    Hey Hether!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! I am so glad to hear we were able to help you plan your last Walt Disney World vacation.

Since 2012 Walt Disney World has been a flurry of activity. The biggest change is the expansion of the Magic Kingdom. The New Fantasyland includes new attractions such as Under The Sea, Ariel's Grotto, Goofy's Barnstormer and double the fun with side-by-side Dumbos. It also includes a fabulous Beauty and the Beast-themed restaurant called Be Our Guest.

The Magic Kingdom is also home to the new Princess Fairytale Hall character meet and greet where Cinderella and her princess friends greet their royal subjects.

For your nighttime viewing, the castle projection show at the Magic Kingdom has been updated and is now called 'Celebrate The Magic'.

Two new additions to the Magic Kingdom coming in the Spring of 2014 are the new Festival of Fantasy Parade and Snow White's Mine Train attraction in the New Fantasyland. Both promise to be spectacular.

Looking beyond 2014, Walt Disney World will be expanding the Animal Kingdom with Avatarland and Downtown Disney with Disney Springs.

As you can see there are a lot of exciting changes in Walt Disney World and many more to come. If you have any more questions please come back and see us.
