Hi, My sister and I will be visiting Disney World at the end of May this year. I understand the basic Disney Dining no long includes an appetizer. Can we swap 1 dessert for 1 appetizer? Still more than enough of food for the both of us.

Hi Margaret! What a nice vacation to take with your sister. When we were at Walt Disney World this past September, it was made very clear that the plan included a dessert and not an appetizer. That said, it never hurts to ask, but I just don't want you to get your hopes up.

Would it help if I told you we enjoyed some of the most spectacular desserts ever while there? If you find that it is too much food, your server will happily box up your dessert to take with you, which makes for a great late night snack, or an even better breakfast the next day!

    Have a magical vacation!
