Hello there,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I'm thrilled to hear that you'll be at the Disneyland Resort in a little over a week from the time that I'm answering this - how exciting!
I've visited the Disneyland Resort with members of my family who have mobility disabilities that required an ECV during our visit, and I'm happy to share that the Happiest Place on Earth was just as fantastic for everyone in our party.
The
Mobility Disabilities page has an abundance of resources and tools that are very helpful when planning your trip. About midway down the page, you'll see links to different lists of attractions around the resort that have
dedicated load and unload areas,
wheelchair access vehicles (WAV),
transfer access vehicles (TAV), and
transfer devices. These will give you a good idea of what to expect when experiencing attractions during your visit.
The Accessing Attraction Queues page is a great overview of resources, programs, and tips to manage your wait time in the various attraction queues. While most attraction queues are wheelchair accessible, some of the older queues in Disneyland Park are not, which is why the Disneyland Resort offers the
Location Return Time program for select attractions. To utilize this program, just speak with a Cast Member at the entrance to the attraction's queue!
If you have additional questions, you can also email disability.services@disneyland.com for more information.
Thank you again for your question! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
