My sister & I are taking our 12 year old niece to Disney in May, our first trip. We have purchased the Dining Plan (Table/Quick/Snack). For the Table meals, can we eat in any of the restaurants in the parks or are we limited to certain ones?

    Hey Gail,

How exciting, your first trip. I know all three of you will have a great time. Good idea purchasing the dining plan. We love that the cost of our meals is already planned out prior to our arrival as it helps us budget our money better--which to me means more Disney shopping!

Many  WDW restaraunts participate in the Disney Dining Plan and are available for use with your dining credits. Some however require more than one credit and there are a few that are not available under the plan. The best place for you to check the locations you would like to dine at is here. This is the current brochure indicating what locations are considered table or counter service, who is currently participating and how many credits they require. Be sure to call 407-WDW-DINE or 407-939-3463 to make advance dining reservations as the table locations tend to book early. You are able to make these reservations ninety days prior to your arrival.

On a side note, be sure to ask for your 1st time visitor button at the resort front desk or park guest relation locations and wear them proudly. A first visit is a great thing to "Celebrate"! Hope you have a magical trip!
