My sister and I are taking our mother to WDW the second week in December.. can't wait!. I have purchased the DDP and will be able to make reservations 180 days in advance. Do I book the restaurant we chose for the Candlelight Dinner Package at that time,?

    Hello Megan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  A trip to Walt Disney World with your mom and sister sounds like so much fun!  I can only imagine the magical memories you're going to make during your vacation.

The Candlelight Processional is such an amazing experience.  It's hard to describe how touching it is to hear the Christmas story retold by a guest narrator in front of a full orchestra and choir.  It's definitely something you'll remember for years to come.  Making an evening out of it by adding the Candlelight Dinner Package is a great idea!  Those packages generally become available around late June or early July for reservations, so I'd recommend keeping an eye on that link above for more information as it's available.  If you'd like to be sure you have something booked, making a dinner-only reservation now is always an option.  When you book the dinner package later this summer, you can simply cancel that original reservation.

Wishing you, your mom and your sister a practically-perfect vacation, Megan!  Please let us know if you have any other questions as you make your plans.
