    My sister and I are taking our girls (ages 6 & 9) to WDW in June. We are trying to decide on the Wilderness Lodge Villas or the Boardwalk Villas. I know both are fabulous hotels but which one would have the best amenitites for our girls? Thanks

    Kimberli,

    I am a fan of both, so hard to make that call. But my general rule is that with VERY YOUNG children I prefer the Wilderness Lodge, largely because of it's close boat ride proximity to the Magic Kingdom.

    However as kids get older, the BoardWalk Inn begins to have more appeal. The wonderfully fun, G-rated entertainment on the BoardWalk, the proximity of both Hollywood Studios and Epcot, and the wealth of dining options make it more and more appealing.

    I would make the decision based on the following factor;

    How late will the girls stay up every night?

    If they are going to be turning in at 8:00 pm every night, go Wilderness. If, however, they are going to be able to enjoy some of the nighttime entertainment, and meals out, I would opt for the BoardWalk.

    You know your girls better than I do, but if it were my nieces, when they were that age, it would be an easy call. BoardWalk all the way!

    I am glad to answer any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
