My sister and I are staying at a Disney resort, and are travelling with a friend who is not staying at a Disney resort. If she is a connected Family & Friend, does she have access Extra Magic Hours with us?

    Hi Alexis,
Thanks for submitting your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

If you're anything like me, you're counting down the days until your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I love staying in a hotel on Walt Disney World Resort property; the different themes are so much fun and the benefits of staying as a guest of our pal Mickey are so wonderful.

You're asking about Family & Friends in My Disney Experience being able to share one of the exclusive benefits of staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Extra Magic Hours, which allows you to access specific parks either earlier in the morning or later at night.  This is a benefit only offered to guests that are currently on a Walt Disney World Resort reservation or staying in select hotels such as Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, Shades of Green Resort, Four Seasons Resort Orlando and Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels.  Your friends cannot access this benefit unless they are included in a resort reservation on one of these properties. Credentials must be presented to grant access.

Alexis, please come back and visit us again if you have any additional questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.

I’ve grown up in Central Florida and have been visiting Disney Parks for over 30 years. Now that I’m a mom myself of a blended family with four kids, I love sharing Disney’s year-round special events with my family. Some of our favorite events are the Flower and Garden Festival, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Let me help you plan something extraordinary for your next Disney Parks vacation! Learn More About Amy
