Can my sister stay in our room and have a different dining plan then my husband and I? How would we book her trip if this is a possibility?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lauren! Thank you so much for bringing us your question! It's great you are considering staying at a Disney hotel; you will love its benefits!

My family always chooses to purchase a Dining Plan because of the convenience it offers. Since all of your meals have been prepaid for, all you need to worry about is choosing your favorite items from the menu!

Adding the dining plan to a hotel reservation means that all guests under such a reservation, and in this case, in the same room, will have the SAME dining plan. If your sister wants to have a different dining plan, I am afraid she would have to book her own room or choose the same dining plan you and your husband have.

Remember that now, you may use your My Disney Experience app to order food and bypass the lines. You will love how it easy it is to order, pay for and pick up fresh food throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. Also, you will be able to see how many credits are being used for a particular meal you want to order and how many credits you have left! It's a super versatile feature!

Lauren, I hope this information is helpful. Please come back with more and more questions, we are here to help you make your vacation as magical as it can be.

    See you real soon,
    Desiree

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
