Welcome aboard, Donna! The
Baja Coast is such a beautiful place, I am so happy to hear that you and your sister get to sneak away together to enjoy a girls' cruise with Disney. My family and I loved our Mexican Riviera cruise with Disney, and I just know that you'll have a wonderful experience in that area as well!
Disney Cruise Line offers
ground transfers from the San Diego airport to the cruise port and back again. Disney is happy to make those reservations for you. There is an additional cost to the transfers, but I promise that letting Disney take care of those details is the easiest way to transition from land to sea and back again! Call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 and provide them with your cruise reservation number. They can then give you more details and add those transfers to your reservation. I love that there is a Disney Cruise Line representative waiting for my family at baggage claim when we fly in, and they simply check us in and whisk us off to our motorcoach to head to the port. It couldn't be easier!
Alternatively, if you are flying in the day before, Disney has partnered with a resort in the San Diego area and can provide transfers from the airport to the resort, then from the resort to the cruise port the next morning, and of course, back to the airport after the cruise. The Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego is a beautiful place to stay the night before you set sail, and is super close to the cruise port.
I hope those details help you further plan for your cruise, Donna! Stop back over the next year as you continue planning and let us know if we can help with any other questions!
