Crystal,
So I am embarrassed to admit that the first time our girls met Alice (along with the Mad Hatter), they had no idea who she was! But they still wanted to meet her, and I can say it was one of our best character interactions ever! Since then she is on our short list of local 'celebrities' that they still want to meet.
We have two favorite places to meet Alice. The first is in the
Magic Kingdom park. You can
Meet Alice in Wonderland at the Mad Tea Party over by the spinning teacups of the
Mad Tea Party. We have only found her there in the morning hours, so be sure to check your
My Disney Experience App, which will show her schedule that day.
The other is to go to breakfast at
1900 Park Fare at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. While officially characters are subject to change, she has been there every time we have dined there, so it is a pretty good bet she will be in the mix, alongside a lot of other characters. As our kids have gotten older, and they sometimes say they are 'too old' for character meals, this is one of two that they still feel is worth going to. I see adult only groups there all the time, so don't let the concept of it being a character meal seem to kid-oriented for you and your sister.
Have a Magical Vacation!
