My sister & I are planning a girls trip to Epcot & MK in October. If mnsshp is that weekend should we consider that instead of a park hopper? Our kids will be home with our husbands-will we enjoy it as adults? I'm a huge Disney fan with &w/o ki

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel, Carrie! Thank you so much for your question.

I am a huge fan of the special-ticketed parties at Walt Disney World. I would definitely recommend attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) if you have the chance. I attended one of these parties last year without any kids and had a blast.

Since the parties only sell a limited number of tickets, you will find the lines for even the headliner attractions to be quite manageable. There are also lots characters available around the parks for photos. You will even find some special characters you might not normally see.

Something to note about these specially-ticketed parties: While this isn't guaranteed, if you have ticket to MNSSHP they will typically allow you to enter the park as early as 4:00 p.m. You would simply receive the party wristband then make your way into the park for a night of fun.

I hope this helps your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical girls weekend and a pixie-dusted day!
