Hi there! My sister and I have planned a short girls trip for the beginning of February. I know there’s lots happening at Epcot right now, and I’m wondering if it’s still worth it to go, even just for World Showcase? Thanks!

    Hiya Kristina!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Kristina, if I'm ever asked whether or not a trip to Epcot is worth it, my honest to goodness answer is an overtly excited YES! You're definitely right about a lot going on at Epcot with all the new magical changes coming to the Theme Park, but I'll give you a few (I've had to dwindle it down because I can talk about Epcot forever) great reasons for you and your sister to visit my very favorite Theme Park, Epcot!

You and your sister will be coming during the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts. Trust me, it will draw you in (pun intended) even if you're not huge art fans. I know next to nothing about art, but I absolutely love this festival. It features many talented artists' works throughout the Park which is so fun to admire. Last year, I ended up falling in love with a print and bought a postcard of it; the artist happened to be there and signed the piece for me. I'll treasure it forever! My favorite part about this festival is all the delectable delights around the World Showcase. Gorgeous, delicious cuisine served in booths that don't require reservations? Sign me up!

My very favorite attraction is Soarin' Around the World at Epcot, located in Future World. I feel like the attraction is a stress reliever for me. With beautiful scents, like the one of roses as you fly over Taj Mahal or feel the breeze as you glide over Fiji, it is truly captivating. I also love to belt out "Let it Go" when I'm on board my favorite Nordic vessel on Frozen Ever After. Also, since you mentioned all the new experiences coming to Epcot, you should check out Walt Disney Imagineering presents the Epcot Experience! It is a beautifully illustrated way to see all the magic that's coming to the Park. There are also plenty of cute and fun photo opportunities here for all your Instagram needs!

End the day by making magical memories while watching Epcot Forever. It's a gorgeous display of fireworks and special effects that celebrate Epcot's past, present, and future. I'll let you in on a secret, I totally got misty eyed the first time I watched the show.

Kristina, I hope you and your sister have the most enchanting time together on your vacation!
