Hiya Corey
I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with your great question. Pretty soon you will be on the way to your amazing
Walt Disney World vacation! Not only will you be able to experience all the magic during
Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary celebration, as an added bonus, you have a ticket to one of my family's favorite special events,
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
This spooktacular event has something for everyone including trick or treating throughout the Magic Kingdom, enchanting entertainment options, frightfully fantastic fireworks and my favorite, Mickey's Boo to You! Halloween Parade. We love getting into the action and dressing up as our favorite villains, heroes and princesses. Everyone, including adults, are welcome to join in the Halloween spirit by wearing their favorite costume as long as you follow the
theme park dress and costume guidelines. The guidelines address items like masks, capes and accessories, and in the case of a princess gown, you may need to alter the length as costumes may not reach or drag on the ground.
As for safety concerns, one of the things I love most about Walt Disney World is this is a place of magic and make believe. Where dreams come true and imagination lives 365 days of the year. Walt Disney World strives to make all guests feel welcome and accepted and the safety of their guests is always their top priority. As long as your costume is within the theme park dress and costume guidelines, no one should question your costume choice or try and make you uncomfortable because of it. Additionally, if you ever have any concerns about your safety or well being while at Walt Disney World, please go to your nearest Cast Member and ask for assistance.
Happy trick or treating. Don't forget an extra tote bag for all that candy and watch out for those hitchhiking ghosts. If you have any additional planning questions,
please stop by and see me. With pixie dust,
Margaret
