my sister lives I Fl and I live in Ca does she get a resident discount also my plane does not land until midnight, can we check in in the middle of the night, what date do I book for 10/30 or 31? with a midnight arrival to MCO

    Welcome to planDisney, Phaedra!

What fun to be planning a sister vacation! My sister and I used to live on opposite coasts of Florida, and we had many many meet-ups at Walt Disney World Resort.

Your sister may be entitled to a Florida resident discounted ticket, however, she will need to make sure she provides proof of residency. Each adult will need their own proof of residency, so while she may be able to purchase a discounted ticket for herself, she will not be able to purchase one for you.

Now, Phaedra, if I was flying in after midnight, I would book a room for the night before you arrive. You see, rooms are not guaranteed until 3:00 PM, so if you book a room starting on the 31st you will not have anywhere to sleep once you arrive. When you complete your online resort check-in, it will allow you to select your arrival time.

I just know you will have some quality bonding time with your sister, Phaedra.

    See you real soon!
