If my sister gifted me a military discounted 1-day park hopper ticket she bought from base, does she need to be present with me when I take my trip to Disneyland?

Hi there Lily! Welcome to planDisney, we are so glad you are here! We would like to thank you for your sister's service from all of us on the panel! There is no better gift (in my opinion!) than a magical vacation to Disneyland Resort! You will have the most incredible time wandering down Main Street, U.S.A., and enjoying all the sights, sounds, and churros

Lily, because your sister is the servicemember, she will need to be present to activate your ticket to Disneyland. She has to present her I.D. for verification purposes. Have you all thought of maybe turning your trip into a sister's trip? My sister and I spent a weekend at Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago, and it was so fun reliving the magic of our childhood together as adults! If this is something you are interested in, I suggest starting your day off with a breakfast reservation at Carnation Cafe, one of Walt Disney's favorites! There is no better way to start a day at the Happiest Place on Earth than with a Mickey waffle!

I hope you have a wonderful, magic-filled visit to Disneyland, Lily!
