My sister and her family are in town and I wanted to take them to Disney. However her family is vegan and I was wonder can they bring their own food into the park?

    Hi Grace,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I know you must be super excited to take your sister and her family to Walt Disney World Resort while they are in town. I definitely think you win the fun sister award!

Great news! Guests are more than welcome to bring snacks and food items that do not require heating into the theme parks. Glass containers (with the exception of small ones like baby food jars) and alcoholic beverages are prohibited from being brought into the parks. Guests may also bring coolers that are not larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Loose or dry ice is not allowed inside the coolers; however, reusable ice packs are permitted.

If your family decides to just grab something to eat inside the park, I have found that many of the dining locations at the theme parks feature menu options geared for Guests with dietary restrictions or preferences. In fact, I have a dietary intolerance and have always been able to speak with the chef at Table-Service restaurants regarding what I need to avoid.

I hope this informaiton has been helpful to you, Grace. Let us know if you have any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip for your family!
