My sister and her family are staying at Pop Century in Jan. 2015. They are meeting my family at Chef Mickey's for a 7:15 a.m. reservation. Will the WDW buses be running that early to get them from Pop Century to the Contemporary? TIA!

    Hello Anne,

Chef Mickey's is one of my favorite character meals and it sounds like a super fun (and delicious) way to start the day with your family!  For Guests who have early morning character breakfast reservations, buses generally start running as early as 6:30 a.m.  These are unofficially known as "breakfast buses" and a Cast Member at Disney's Pop Century Resort should be able to give your sister and her family more detailed information on when and where those buses will be picking Guests up the morning of your reservation.  If they let the bus driver know they have reservations at Chef Mickey's when they board, they may be able to be dropped off directly at Disney's Contemporary Resort.  Otherwise, the bus will drop them off at Magic Kingdom, which is about a 10-minute walk.

Of course, taking a taxi from Pop Century to the Contemporary is always an option, too.  Taxis are usually waiting outside the hotels or a Cast Member can help arrange one.

I hope that helps, Anne, but please visit us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel again if we can answer any other questions.

Wishing you a magical meal with Mickey and his pals!
